If I may still add to the conversation, one of my points sort of was the sales method and the second hand prices that may fit fine (perfectly?) for collectors adding the excitement of purchasing a new cool hard duty blade from a small volume manufacturer. Those with steady life and work can surely easily deal with timing critical sales by batches but to those of us that live more fastpaced life with many unknown factors thrown in acquiring a Scrapyard may be somewhat tricky. It has certainly proven difficult for me.

Hello Dan107,
I have a schedule that is very similar to yours as you describe it. I completely missed the first releases of the SYKCO line. I was very fortunate to be around for the DF release. One of the things that make this forum so great is the interactions and helping fellow dogs. I will receive a DM from a fellow dog who was kind enough to cover me. Even though you are accross the big pond, I believe it is possible for you to get one or more of the knives you seek. Please let me know if you want to try.
