If we follow the "logic" of the "ban it and it will go away" crowd, this should never have happened because "dangerous weapons" have been banned on school grounds at both the federal and state level. Oh yeah, that's right, criminals don't obey laws which is why they are called criminals.

It appears that once again, it has been proven that banning an object is ineffective at controling human behavior. If only life were that simple. Perhaps at some point reality will set in for the "ban it and it will go away" crowd. This type of logic makes me wonder if politicians with this mindset really want to minimize the damage from these sorts of incidents.
