Vic - I agree w/ you 100%. I'd also venture to say that European culture is so very similar to US culture that it didn't take my wife any time at all to "adapt" to the "American Way" of life. Having lived in an Asian country (Korea) I can say that the cultural differences are huge.


I lived in Eurpoe for 5 years (state department brat) and Europe is a completely different way of life. At least in my opinion. I however, would say that Canadien culture is similar, there are some differences but a lot of similarities.
Yes, it was the more adventurous Europeans that came here and founded a unique culture, or actually several of them. I've lived in Germany and Britain.
