well Horndog, my only AO folders are from Kershaw.....I have a Bump, zdp189 Leek, and rainbow Chive..... fun to play with but
I actually prefer manual for EDC folders (don't want a premature vasectomy from my Leek when carried IWB) ....
And that's the problem with assisted opening knives in a nutshell (so to speak <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> ). They're inherently dangerous due to their design. The only way to safely carry an AOK in a pocket or IWB is to keep the safety engaged. But engaging the safety prevents the knife from being brought into play quickly if the need arises.
As you say, jaislandboy, AOKs are fun to play with. But if I were actually going to EDC a folder (which I don't do currently), it wouldn't be an AOK.
Well you guys are no fun! But you may be right. Guess I'll make that decision after I get the AOKs. Today, I put on my Sunday best Cabela's Spring ensemble. I'll be sporting my new HRLM EDC for the blessing of the shrimp boat fleet in Darien. Have a nice Sunday, all.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
