For what it is worth, I watched Jerry developed INFI. You cannot imagine the hours and endless frustrations he went through until he finally develop INFI. So I know for a fact that he is the creater, developer and king hog of INFI.

From that expierence, I recognized his pure brilliance. Don't ever tell him I said this...none of us will be able to live with him. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

I won't tell him. I have noticed that is very easy to resharpen for such a hard steel. I like SR-77 for the same reason. Some of the old German steels were just so "slick" and hard, that I hated to sharpen them. I hate ATS-34 for the same reason. I can't carry the belt sander with me into the swamp. I like a steel that I can bring back quickly with a steel or ceramic rod that I carry with me. Both INFI and SR-77 have this characteristic, as does 1095.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
