Guys, just wondering...do you think the scrapizashi will perform well as an outdoor survival knife? the weight and length are reasonable when you compare it to machetes or huge choppers. actually, it appears that this is a machetes that is tough enough to chop down trees and baton through wood. it looks like it might work well for trail blazing? in the Pacific Northwest there is a lot of overgrown trail and i have had to work my way through a lot of Devils club, wild black berries, stinging nettles, and lots of other tree branches and underbrush.

i just imagine you would have some powerful synergy in an outdoor/survival situation when you combine the scrapizashi with a smaller fixed blade.
