Good luck Tone, and never forget the original reasons you wanted to PROTECT and SERVE (I have quite a few law enforcement friends that have "changed" over the years due to the job / people they have to deal with <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> ).
Be sure to post a graduation pic when you've completed your Academy training!
Isn't that the sad fact. I have had friends that went the negative route, but many more that stayed positive. Everyone changes from academy and the job, but thankfully not everyone changes for the worse.
Especially considering the state of funding for public safety, this is a huge acheivement. Good luck and take advantage of the many hidden opportunities in LE to do really exciting work and move up in the chain.
