I saw a video on county comm where they did that with the disposable towels they sell in the tube valts. They soaked them in alcohol and they actually burned for quite some time.
I buy cheap bulk gauze pads, put them in a suitable container then put in rubbing alcohol.
They work great for cleaning hands, equipment or starting fires
