I don't like shooting full house loads out of the scandium frames either. The recoil of the .357 out of a light revolver would be a a foolish way to introduce the wife to handguns. It would take lots of practice to get rid of that flinch.

I cannot wait to start the course. I'd love to learn how to shoot in different situations and learn some drills that I could practice. Also, learning the philosophy of defensive shooting will be valuable too.
