I really wish I went to college, not because I think it makes you better, but in my line of work at least you get 10k more a year to start just because you have that piece of paper with you at the interview. Pretty good investment over time I would say.
Yes. Unfortunately, most employers put a lot of stock in it. For many professions it an absolute necessity. There may be some brilliant people out there who studied law, but you wouldn't hire a lawyer who never graduated from law school, even it he could ace the bar exam.
