I just picked up a '96 Dodge Ram 1500 for 2 Grand, the gentleman I bought it from had recently dropped in a newer engine and rebuilt the transmission, so this truck ought to be bulletproof for a while yet. Lots and lots of highway miles (Arizona plates attest to that). Frame is straight, and the stepboards aren't dinged up, indicating to me that it didn't see much offroading.

So, I now have both a quasi-jeep and a 4WD Truck <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
(The Patriot is a 2WD crossover. I didn't even realize Jeep made crossovers. I must have bought the only one <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" />)

So without further ado...
