what do you guys think?

before answering go out and beat the crap out of a piece of real hard wood for 5 minutes without gloves just for the fun of it and then post your answer.)

i had the chance to try out cgeyers scrapizashi a few weekends ago on a hickory log. it was fun to chop on the log as hard as i could but each time i hit the log the spine and handle wrapping along the spine dug into my hand and i really felt each blow.

chuck said he would like to have a neoprene handle put on which will no doubt make it easier on the hands and more fun to play with.

i was thinking of paracord wrap as another option but the neoprene sounds like a better idea and would offer better grip even when wet.

i'm anxious to see what it looks like after i get done putting some neoprene on and then giving it a try on some more hickory.

i'll do a wip of how i put neoprene on and how i shape and finish the neoprene.
