My most used and abused is cold steel. The recon scout has taken a beating I have had mine since 95 or so. it has never failed me.
I have recently started to use Esee knives and they are tough as well.

Chris reeve one piece hollow handles hold an edge and haven't snapped or broken on me yet. If you can find one grab it they don't make em any more.

I agree tops makes a strong product as well. I had the anaconda designed by Ron hood. It was a great chopper.

The ferhman extreme judgement line could pass as a Busse kin relative. It feels great in the hand and looks to be a good chopper yet handle some detail work as well.
