I had a few stars, and "chucks". Got to messing with them in the Philippines. Also that's where I got my first POS butterfly knife. Got back to the world and got some nice Benchmade ones but the first GOOD one was the utility model from Pacific Cutlery, the for runner of Benchmade!

Of all the "NINJA MANIA" My favorite was the Sai. Funny that I never had a set. But I always thought they would be the best "Defensive" weapon, and not all that bad of an offensive one. I had "dreams" of a drop sheath double set up, one on each leg with tie downs. Man that was a long time ago.

The sai were my favorite as well. I made my first pair from wood wrapped in my dads electrical tape, about a roll each much to his despair!
He was such a good sport now that I look back.
I finally got a real pair and took private lessons with an instructor. They were great until while trying to parry a down ward strike from my instructor I put my thumb in-between the upper cross guard and used it to Cushion The strike. Split my thumb open, nail fell off and my sai days fell to the way side a year or so later. By then I found guns!
