Could someone explain a slightly convex edge? I this looks nice though!

Instead of a pure flat grind I put a small degree of convex in the blade to add incremental strength. It contributes to increasing the performance to price ratio of the knife.

Does this help?

Dan
Yah I understand makes sense! One more question <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> Does this mean the edge itself is convex or still a V edge? Thanks big dog.

The edge is a V since the convex is slight

Dan

Excellent! I was hoping the edge was a V - much easier to sharpen in the field (and I've found them to be more durable).
