As to eating them....not a freaking chance in hell.... well OK...not before the Zombie Apocalypse anyway. The ferals out here carry far too many nasties (letosporosis as a start) for me to willingly dine on one. And they eat lost of carrion so tend to take on some of that rotting dead shyte flavour.... now....back in the day wee would occasionally pen up a medium to smaller sized wild porker and grain feed it for a couple of weeks, that use to clean it out a bot and improve the flavour.
