Can't go wrong with a Buckmark or a Ruger. I have a Ruger Mark III 22/45 and have fired hundreds of rounds through a buddies Buckmark. Both are great pistols, but like damon said, the Buckmark is more user friendly. I find that is negated once you spend some time learning the uger though.
