Haha, at least you did something constructive. I was wondering about if 45colt rounds would cycle through my bolt action Stevens 410. I got to thinking they probably would, but it is a smooth bore, so there wouldn't be any accuracy! Besides, I don't think I would want to do something like that for a gun that wasn't designed for it.
