Here are the Dog Fathers; there weren't many, and I didn't land any:

My big "thrown away" opportunity was one of these; old-school original AKs (.25-inch A2 steel). I got the most desirable in the lot -- the snakewood handled one, and carried it around for a while before deciding that I didn't want to spend $897 on it, so I passed it along.

Here are more swords:

The one in the middle of this picture generated a ton of interest over on Bladeforums. It's a flying Chopweiler variant. I'd have loved to have gotten to it, but someone else did first.

I thought someone asked for a picture of an SS3, although I don't recall who.

I got all 3 of the Scrap Yard MODs. The tables had all been picked over by the time I grabbed them, but I'll take what I can get today.

Here they are in a picture I took when I got home:

and here's my only other purchase, a Busse Muk with alligator tooth in black epoxy handles and mosaic pins:

This was by far my smallest Knob Creek haul, but I'm happy with what I got. There was a LOT more that I wanted once I got there to look at it, but it all disappeared so fast. I thought for sure that I'd score some of the Leaner Meaners -- they were 0.15-inch thINFI, but not a one fell into my basket. Oh well, here are the rest of the pictures I took (although I still didn't get everything):

I wanted this AD with snakewood as my #1 pick, but it was not to be.

There were a bunch of HG-55s

There were some absolutely gorgeous custom RMD handles at this sale.

You can see my feet in some of the pictures; I suppose that I could have cropped them out. These finger-grooved RMD handles were quite comfortable, but I still prefer the standard shape -- it's more versatile rather than coercing your hand into a specific grip, even if it is comfortable.

I also carried around the BOSS Jack at the far right in the picture below for a while. The fuller changed the balance just enough and the maple burl handles were exquisite, but I just didn't want it enough to pay the price. I suspect my decision would be different on another day, but today was not a good day to buy.
