You'd like to think that someone was making a group buy for a military unit, although it could also someone buying inventory to flip. There's good profit for someone with a hot item, but they can lose a lot if they misjudge demand. I think it was Dan (from Pennsylvania, not Dumpster Dan) who told me about making good money buying CGs, then stripping, polishing and re-handling them for resale when we were in line at Knob Creek. Maybe it was someone else, but that's how I remember it.

Anyway, the KDHs didn't sing to me, but a lot of folks seemed to be buying them -- maybe we'll hear about a unit buy (that's what I'm going to believe unless I hear otherwise).
