I worry about ceramic breaking. So even though I use a Spyderco Sharpmaker about weekly at home I carry a DMT duofold course and fine in the field. They are light and tough in the folded position. I personally have had much better luck with DMT flat diamonds than with any other mfgr of flat diamond hones. I suspect round might be about the same though.
