OK, to try and eliminate confusion ( I have said it 3 or 4 different ways all myself) so here it is as I understand it.

1. In order to get this knife you MUST be a member of the Scrapyard. Otherwise you can ONLY get it if someone decides to sell you theirs.

2. To get your JYD number on the blade, you of course MUST be a JYD at the time Dan officially announces it is open for sales. You (ANY forum member) can order as many of the knives as you want, but ONLY ONE JYD number engraved blade per JYD!

Usually you are not required to pay for the knife or knives until they are ready to ship your order at which time you will be either be sent a message requesting payment, or you are notified your order is being shipped (If paying with a CC). As I understand it, the only exception is if you use paypal, then you are dinged for payment then. BUT once again, If you have ANY questions/doubts go directly to the source.
