Lately there has been a few posts with fungi and mushrooms.

Well I enjoy collecting fungi and making a good meal of them.
So this sunday I went to the woods with a friend of mine to see what we could find.
We did find a lot of really good ones. Needless to say, we know what we are doing, and go go by the rule: Any doubt if it is edible, discard it.

Some pics of our harvest:

Indigo boletus. Fantastic flavour roasted with butter and on a piece of bread.

Lark boletus. Ok, taste, but works more as content in a stew.

Chanterelles. Also really good!

Had taken Monsterdogs brother along <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Gill Fungi. I don't know the excact name in English, just that it is a sort of Gill Fungi.
Very nice flavour. Much like hazelnuts.

I forgot to take pics of the food, but it came out great!

WARNING: ONLY DO THIS IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING, AND ALWAYS BE TWO, AND HAVE TWO OPINIONS IF THE FUNGI IS EDIBLE OR NOT!!! A GOOD PIECE OF ADVICE IS TO BRING TWO DIFFERENT BOOKS ON FUNGI!

Having only one pancake, leaves more room for bacon!
