Well, the important things are shelter, fire, water, and food. How about a quart ziplock bag and some micropur tabs to purify water? Maybe some wire for making snares. Sometimes you can get lost in an area where there isn't any deeper water with fish in it. Or you could also add some heavy spiderwire type cordage. Then it could be used for fishing or snaring.
