I don't like resellers either, but not because they are capitalist, but because they horde all the knives that I want. Call me selfish. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />
I think they can be valid businesses, but when they have to run in before others who would own/use a knife to buy them up, then turn around and mark them up to flip them for a profit... I disagree with that. They are artificially creating scarcity in the market: "Lets just buy it all then if anyone wants any they have to pay us MORE for it."
Now if there isn't a constricted supply like on the 1311's (except restricted by being a board member...) buy all you want for resell. A guy on another board bought 25 1311's for investment/resell. Ok. Fine. You aren't keeping anyone else from owning one.
I guess I'm splitting hairs because I'm selfish too....
