I have been a couple times to knob creek. never for the pre party but their is usually some good stuff left on the tables. I need to get to one for the preshow to hang out. and blade is a freaking blast.

So how does knob creek work? I was told that they do a preshow, mix everything up, then open the doors for sales.
Is it first come first served after they open the doors? People sprint around looking for certain blades?
Dunno, I'm still trying to figure out all the extra nomenclature like nuclear, flying, and such.

first guess is right.... i might not make it this fall like i planned. i have a job offer in up state NY to help a guy with his waterfowl guide company.

Dunno, I'm still trying to figure out all the extra nomenclature like nuclear, flying, and such. Exactamundo! Pretty much hit the nail on the head. It was still a great experience even though one who shall remain nameless hordes everything. The other guys are very cool, kind of grabbing things that they hear you may want.

I won't say how much I spent at last knob creek, but guarantee that I was in the bottom 5 of spending. I know the top guy was well into 5 figures.

I disagree with that. They are artificially creating scarcity in the market: "Lets just buy it all then if anyone wants any they have to pay us MORE for it." Now if there isn't a constricted supply like on the 1311's (except restricted by being a board member...) buy all you want for resell. A guy on another board bought 25 1311's for investment/resell. Ok. Fine. You aren't keeping anyone else from owning one. I guess I'm splitting hairs because I'm selfish too....
