It's an excellent mockery of the whole anti-2nd amendment agenda being pushed by people who can't attain their other evil goals until that one is out of the way, and God help us if that ever comes to pass as that means the entirely unalterable Bill of Rights has been destroyed. Basically, having a well armed society is the only thing keeping what freedom and politeness we still have alive.
