I was trying to explain it to my father last night...as we both have SS4's. The 4-11 is FAST, feels good (especially when choked up), has more belly than the SS4, a tad more length, and a drop point. It's really a bush-crafty alternative to the SS4, which, per its name, is much more designed as a fighter.

I will never part with the SS4...but I think the 4-11 will get more practical use.

PLUS, they both fit the leather pouch sheath that Jeff made for the SS4. The 4-11 will not fit the kydex or drop legs that I have though...as the guard protrudes too much.

If there was one thing I might modify...it would be the guard. It might prove useful, but I could probably live without it also.
