Rich, nothing wrong with having a couple shotty's! Which Mossy are you looking at?
500 persuader 18.5" with stock- but in 20 ga. I figure my son is growing and wife has a better chance of shooting a 20 ga. Also, in my small condo, I can't imagine that a 20 ga with #4 buck shot would not be a fine defensive weapon.
