There is not any actual knife buying event going on before the show, but on Friday afternoon after the show we go to Fuddrucker's restaurant for a nice get-together. Saturday night after the show we all go to Jocks & Jills restaurant for a Busse sponsored dinner (they rent the entire restaurant), located at the Galleria. That is where they do the "induction" ceremonies and have fun and games, all of which is family-friendly. There are also chances to win shop credits which you can apply to your knife purchases.
