I have built four long bows and each one was better than the last. I was on a run till my daughter moved in and stole my garage work area. I shoot a vintage early 1970’s Fred Bear re-curve off and on and will pick it up again once the weather warms. There is much satisfaction hunting with a stick and string. I have taken four deer with my re-curve and two with my Bear long bow. I built a very nice long bow with boo backing on hickory, I hit a dear with it but lost it when it ventured on Sen.
