Paul - I had bought some heavy leather scraps at the Tulsa gun show -cheap! - that I plan on using. Also, I have ordered a few items from LEATHER UNLIMITED, www.leatherunltd.com located in Wisconsin. I bought some cutlers rivets, holster clips, and a few other goodies from them, and they have been very good to deal with.

Andy made a great suggestion, that of checking Goodwills, and other thrift shops for materials. It is amazing what you can find there sometimes, and it is a good idea to keep checking back as they receive new stuff every week.
