I think a Scrapivore is a great knife - I have one myself and am waiting on Al's magic kydex to keep it from cutting me.

A 1311 at scout camp would draw attention, but something much smaller would probably be fine for a night. As long as you don't start hacking things with it and yelling, "Watch this!"
