I've been told to stay away from the "QuikClot Combat Granules" because the granules are difficult to clean out.

Replace all your shoe strings with 7-strand 550 cord, too. 50 feet of cordage disappears faster than you think, carry as much as you comfortably can, then double it.

Used to go commando (no underpants) in the Army when in hot environments. But socks? There's nothing better that clean dry socks.

No camo, florecent, or glow in the dark/reflective clothing. I prefer dark brown/blue (NOT black) for get out of town clothes. No writing or logos on the clothes either.

I prefer a p-51 can opener over a p-38 also.
