I've been thinking hard about getting a pack for a few years, but I'm just so wishy-washy I can never commit to buying a specific pack. I love the utility of the military style packs, but I feel that military looking gear draws too much attention. People see someone with military looking gear and think that person must be prepared, and if I find myself in a bug out scenario then I just want to look like a guy that doesn't have anything that anybody wants.

I think I've decided on the Kelty MAP 3500. It was designed by SEALs and if you don't pick a tactical color it looks inconspicuous. Here's a good review. Tons of pics, so beware.
