Let me tell you a quick story. I had read about Kahr Arms in many a gun magazine, and finally got to see and handle them at a gun show it CT. Well, I went back for a second time to shoot one, and the guy tells me that if I hit the dime sized target, he would give me $50 towards a new Kahr. Well, guess what? I did hit the dime sized target, ang got my $50!! I bought the Elite 98 with night sights, in 9mm first. Then shortly there after, I bought the .40. I LOVE my Kahr's!! If I were allowed to buy them in MA. (only LEO's are currebtly allowed to buy them here.), I would get a Kahr in .45 in a heart beat!
