yeah. you won't be underknifed with a scrapper 6 or 4 in its stead, though.

for the whole "only one knife" thing, it's the only choice in a fixed blade.

Don't be too discouraged - but Scrapyard blades aren't usually "for sale" very long, because they sell out so fast. Dan makes them as fast as he can, in runs, and we buy them out within a couple minutes-days.

The next blade coming up is probably the Dog Father Limited Ediction (DFLE) - its a 10" satin finish chopper. You can check on Blade Forums in the for sale section to see whats available on the secondary market - but you can be sure that Dan will be announcing some new blades here shortly.

Thats not what I meant. I have a himalayan imports kukri. I just need something to do skinning and small work.

Its the only .38 that I've ever shot. It sure makes ankle carry comfortable though, being so light. I don't really "shoot" much with it like I do the Glock or 1911. I've put maybe 50 rounds through it. Not accurate past 15 feet or so, and the +P loads will surely add some kick as well. Its a perfect concealed carry pistol though. It even rides in a pants pocket and doesn't show much profile since it isn't blocky at all.

oh. we haven't seen to many small knives from dan. your him imp came with a karda. I like all their r-knives, my favorite being the rusty sgian dubh. I also recommend spyderco and victorinox.

if it must be a scrapper, though, we'll just have to wait.

Dumpster Mutt probably won't be a very good skinner - its definately geared more towards prying and stabbing. If you are able to wait though, I'll bet that something will be released in the next month or month and a half that will be right up your alley.
