Nice! I always seem to forget my DLSR when I head out and end up regretting it.

Patty ALMOST always takes hers with her. Now we just got to find her a good Macro lens. Pentax will work of course, but I really want that SIGMA 105mm Macro for her. UNFORTUNATELY they say they don't have any plans on making it for the Pentax mount. It's about a 62mm Objective where the Pentax is 49mm.

Patty spotted this little guy while just driving through Mingo. Man has she got good eyes.




Now this feller stayed on her finger while we were driving down the refuge road for about 10 minutes before finally flying off.

Well Shazbat. Thanks Greaser, but the lens I was looking at (Sigma 105mm macro) isn't one of the convertible lens. Don't know anything about the 17-70 Macro though. May have to take a look see at it.

That is a hummingbird moth Skunk. Great pic of one as well.

Grease, I think that it is a white-lined sphinx moth.

Yep that it is. They a type of hummingbird or hawk moth all the same family.

Well we made it to Mingo again Wednesday and left just as the storm was hitting. Patty got a few pictures. I hope you like them.















I don't know what kind of flower/plant those things are but there must have been 20 of those Moths around them.
