I'm not a big fan of the "Persian" style blade. Aladdin's Semitar never did anything for me.

Last night I pulled the trigger on a 1989 Case Mako on the auction site. I've wanted one for years and decided to go with an older light user. I'm looking forward to comparing it to my 1974 Buck 112.

I'm the proud owner of an Emerson OD Green EOTAC. I was excited to get it, until I got it.
That's as far as I'll take my bashing here.

I carry a Spyderco. $70 and if I lose it...well, I'll be really upset but not devastated.
I'm not into expensive folders. If I need a "good" knife - I'll break out a fixed blade Busse.

Imagine if you bought a $200 Swamp Rat knife with OD green G10 scales only to find out that they were actually black scales powder coated OD green.
That was my biggest surprise. I'll leave the rest out.
