She is healthy again but my folks say she is depressed. I had to move to my new apartment Sunday night to start my new job and my folks said she just seems sad and goes up to my room and looks for me.
Any day I'm above the grass and I'm not a zombie is a good day! JYD#138

Yes that will do it mate.... dogs are truly pack animals... YOU are part of their pack (they don't see you not having enough legs, proper fur or a desire to lick you butt), if you are not there as you have been in the past they will have an emotional reaction. I know mine both get a bit funny when on of us has been away for a time... getting home it is like I have been revived from the dead they are soo happy !!

Dogs do get depressed. At least you can cheer Merrell up this weekend! Glad she is feeling at least a little better.
