Hi, sorry to bring this up here, I really don't want to cause any probs.....
(that's why I won't post specific prices, email me if interested)
BUT.... the cost of shipping a few knives seemed pretty high, (higher than Busse and/or Bussecompanystore) and I didn't get any kind of email back when I inquired about this. I knew what the price was going to be when I placed my order, and I don't mind if it's Standand Operating Procedure, but if it isn't, I'd like to know about it (and hopefully get a partial refund). Thanks.
And again, I'm sorry. I know it's only been a couple days since I emailed, and I know you're busy, but I haven't heard back yet.
thanks for your time
Oh...
BTW.... I'm really excited about the INFI scrappers, and can't wait to get them!
Thanks!

HRLM - 9.95
GW/FBMLE - 14.95
Two SS4 - 18.95

I think Crash Rat was also 14.95

That is high. Keep in mind, USPS Flat Rate Priority Mail costs $8.10 for up to SEVENTY POUNDS.

I supposed you can make a case for $5 or so extra for wrapping up the blade and knife.....

.

The BCS and SYCO stores charge a flat $15 shipping rate. I believe the SRKW store charged $10 but he lost money on the last batch of large knives he mailed. Remember they add delivery confirmation which adds a couple bucks to the price. I can't remember if they insure them or not but that adds money as well. To keep the stores up and running with CC support they rely on paypal which adds more cost to them plus we cant forget the cost of packing materials. All in all I am not going to complian about $15 shipping (and handling).
And if you still have problems paying the $15 shipping look at it this way. Jerry could charge what his blades are REALLY worth which would double the cost of the knife. $450 for a GW with free shipping would not be a better deal. Careful what you wish for or you might just get it. JMHO

With due respect to your problem, I wish I could get shipping that cheap.
I'd be happy to pay twice or three times at those prices.

International shipping (to Australia) - $39.95!

With regards your email not being replied to, try a personal message on these boards.

Patti's email client seems to have fairly aggressive (or maybe plain dumb) spam filtering characteristics.

Several of my messages sent from my gmail account have ended up in her spam folder, so if you are not getting replies, try another means of communications. I think the problem is very likely Patti's spam filters, becase when she does see a messgae she seems to repsond promptly, in my limited experience.

Okay. 6 small knives.... scrappers....
$35 bucks......
I've only EVER been charged around $16 maybe 17 from Busse and/or Company store
and/or Swamprat.
.
Also, please do not contact me regarding the sale of these knives.
I'm sorry if you missed out, but IF I'm ready to sell, I'll post on Bladeforums.
Thanks.

$35 does seem a bit steep. Perhaps you could work a quantity discount? Or maybe you could just get them to hold your knives for you then pick them up in person on your next trip to Texas.

The boxes are free at the post office. Delivery confirmation is 50 cents. Priority mail starts at 4.10. Insurance is only a couple bucks. Both of my orders from the BCS cost $8 to ship. And Scrap yard doesn't charge a flat rate of 15 because my two cost 18.95.

I agree shipping is too much. I ship stuff out about twice a week and I know they charge too much. They need a combined shipping and to use flat rate boxes on larger stuff. Someone needs to do there homework.

I love my country but fear my government.
