It along with the 411 were my first two Yard knives. The perfect companion knives imo. If it cant be done with those two, it cant be done.

Like the rest of you guys, I am a huge fan of the 911. In my opinion, its smaller size makes it more versatile and more comfortable to wield than something like a 1311 yet it still manages to do a very respectable job at chopping duties. So far I prefer it over the 1311 for light brush chores. Sometimes it's wiser to keep the driver in the bag and hit 3-wood off the tee. I'm not a Bowler but I agree.

You see here's the problem, you go starting a thread like this just as I have decided I don't need a 911 while fondling my 711 and organising payment for the Dogfather I just snagged. Are you trying to send me bankrupt or what?

These are the best knives for the money hands down, and having a large number of them is defiantly worth it in my opinion. But, with that said, most of us who have lots of dogs didn't buy them all at once, trying to do that can easily overwhelm your budget. I have found that you can amass a good group with a slow, steady buying pace. The potential for models to be discontinued complicates this buying strategy, however older models can often be had on the BF exchange (and elsewhere) for reasonable prices. There are some great deals on there sometimes and Skunk Hunters Specs thread with the issue prices helps a lot in knowing if your getting a fair shake.
