What gun (or guns) have you been longingly lusting after?
I've been fantasizing about a prolonged Alaskan adventure so everything I've been longing for revolves around the threat of bear and moose as well as the prospect of putting a caribou on the spit and some hare in the pot.
This has led me to want the following guns....
Marlin 1895 SBL (45-70)
S&W 629 (44 Mag)
Winchester 70 Stainless Classic (300 Win Mag)
Winchester 9422 with Tang Sight (22WMR)
I have all the tacticool guns I need. I'd like to be "less practical" for a change, and just get something because it's fun.

I love my 45/70. I would recommend hand loading for it because you can do so many different loads. The heavy loads can hurt a bit out of the light weight levers but still enjoyable.

I am lusting over an affordable AR10 and an AR15 in 5.45x39 right now. The x39 will be here before the AR10 hopefully this fall.

You have a nice list.
I want a Glock 7. I also want an AA12 for upland bird hunting and a gold Desert Eagle in .50 AE for plinking.
In all seriousness I really want a Colt Anaconda in stainless and a Colt second series Woodsman Match Target.

Only one I can think of now is a compact .45acp. I Like the Sig P250 (I think).
