Howdy all. Hey Dan, thank you for being open to ideas. Like I said, my vote's for a kukri, with an 11" blade and a res-c handle, but if it's priced higher than a 1111 it's going to be hard for me to purchase as I'm saving for my kids' education in this crazy don't-know-where-we're-going-world. At the same time, I would like a beast of a tool that'll last and that I can use hard. Thanks, again. I know you have your own factors you need to consider.

Good post CZ! Now this is just a guess here, but from your avatar name you need to make it a .45!

Hey Dan, I have some other input to give - well maybe not for this time but for some other - if you put up another retro model for production for Blade or Knob, why not make it also available for the dogs that can´t be there - from Europe or Australia it´s just....expensive for a day trip That woudn´t even require to create something different and if just postet via pm to the YDs or just allow to order with their YD number will keep all the people not participating in the brotherhood out... Just something I was thinking about today while attending some stupid meeting about the new digital radio network in Germany

CZ, right now the top three "Choppers" are the 1311, 1111 and the 911. Now IF you are lucky enough to score a Dog Father, you've got the Great Grizzled Grand Daddy of them all! Yes, it's THAT good.

@SkunkHunter - LOL I'm a beginner shooter so for now it's just 9mm, pocket pistols, and my long guns. Have a 1111 on the way. I'm hoping it will be both a good chopper and something of a short sword. I would love to have a SYKCO quality kukri that wasn't as expensive as a Busse Killa Zilla because I've had good experiences with kukri's in the past.

Want a short sword? Get a Rodent Waki over at the Swamp. 1311 is more of a solid machete. 1111? I'd love to snag one someday, but my Dogfather sufficeth Welcome to the Yard CZ

CZ, I think you will be more than satisfied with the 1111. It's close to the Legendary DogFather so as DT says, It will sufficeth.

The furry guy means the Rodent Rucki from swamprat I have it and it´s a real nice and quick blade! For a Kukri I love my CS Ghurka Kukri plus (dosen´t need to be the san mai version, sk5 is plenty!) - until we get a scrap one

Thanks everyone. I considered the Rucki before, but I wanted something I'd use on a more regular basis outdoors, which is a chopper/wood processor. Every time I started to save enough for a Rucki, I ended up putting it into a firearm. Yal have made me feel welcome here, and I appreciate it. The Yard is a good place to be.
