Sure Mike, what ever you say. wink grin

Haha, I almost got me another 40cal, but in the end I just got stars in my eyes over the XDs PLUS it was a 45 so it, for me, was a no brainer. Oh I DO have a 40 and I have a Milt Sparks Exec companion IWB rig for it. Yes I did carry it for a while several years ago. AND It's smaller than the XDs!

I run,

a 380 in the summer with hand loaded (hot) 95gr FMJs because even hot hollow points don't penetrate enough.

a 9mm in-between with hand loaded (hot) 124gr JHPs because the extra mass is reassuring if it doesn't expand.

a 45acp when ever I can conceal it with hand loaded (hot) 185gr JHPs because they move faster and hit harder than 230s, but in the winter I switch to hand loaded (hot) 230gr HCRN lead because it wont plug with all the heavy clothing being worn and deform enough to not over penetrate.

NOTHING wrong with them, but I don't particularly like S&W. And Yes I do own one of their revolvers, but I couldn't find a Ruger or Colt in SS at the time.

SDs. Single stack 45acp. Flush mount mags hold 5 rounds, the extended mags 7. NOPE it's not a mega blaster load on Sunday and shoot all week, but ALL my 45s have been single stack and I've never felt hindered in any way. I DO like this little thihg, carries GREAT. And with the pinky extension it is even better, for me.

I have joined a group that is doing a challenge to make it easy for RPAL holders to get wilderness carry permits. For pistols

I was going to make a snide comment about extended pinkys and tea drinking but Randy is making it too easy, so I won't. grin

Oh and I forgot to say I DO like tea! Bigelow Constant Comment or Earl Grey. And I have drank some of Bills chai tea too when I can find it.
