I said goodbye to this old girl Thursday night.

[Linked Image from i22.photobucket.com]

And said hello to a 3 year lease with option to buy on this new hotness.

I will be buying it outright at the end of the lease, I've already fallen head over heels for this truck. It has a fricking heated steering wheel... And with my new job, I'm making more than enough to afford it. payment is 415 a month, but that's only a hair more than a 10th of my monthly income at this time. Insurance sucks at 217 a month, but I should see a drop when some of my old tickets drop off, lol... Teach me to speed, I guess.

Nice! Looks similar to mine, but yours is probably a couple trim levels better than mine.

What trim did you pick up SP? I ended up steamrolling the sales manager for this Outdoorsman. Picked it up for under Invoice for the less expensive truck I was initially looking at. 48,000$ turned into 32,000 really quickly, lol.

You know you got the best deal you could when the sales manager won't even come out of the cubicle and shake your hand afterwards...

Mine is the ST with chrome package. I actually would've been perfectly happy with a work truck model but I couldn't find one in crew cab, 4wd, and the hemi. I paid $29,000, which isn't great but it was the lowest I could get them down to since it was the middle of the summer. Much better deals at the end of the year.

Definitely a sinister looking pickup.

The only thing that mine doesn't have that I wish it did are ram boxes. They weren't available on the half tons until the year after I bought mine. The bed is already small enough so I won't be putting a tool box in it. The ram boxes would've been the ticket.

I've had mine for 3 years and Iove it. MBRP exhaust makes it sound NICE.

ST isn't a bad trim package by any stretch though smile I know I've loved every Dodge I've ever owned. Best trucks hands down IMO

Yep, she's purdy. Love these new Rams. Dodge wasn't even on my radar until I was new pickup huntin' and Ford and GM wanted 5K more than what Dodge wanted. For me there was no better time to give Ram a chance. I'm glad I did.

For the record I was a die hard GM guy from childhood until about age 30. I'm still a fan, but if someone comes along with what I consider to be a better product or a better value, well......

I still love GM, but this Ram is somethin' else.

Here's a pic of mine from early this year. It has a very thin layer of ice covering the entire vehicle, which, here in the gulf coast of Texas, equates to a meteorological catastrophe. I mean, I had to run the defroster for fifteen minutes to get that ice to break up.

Nice trucks guys. Although I'll have to admit I like the black wheels on ECF's truck better. They sure look meaner than my '08.
