Yeah some of those guns, specially in the earlier part of the last century were pretty fancy.

I haven't bothered buying any pistols because I could only shoot them at the range

BUT in a close up arms length confrontation, I would rather have a 25 than nothing. Might be better to poke him in the eyes with your fingers Haha, or use a good knife. A nice Karambit comes to mind.

I haven't bothered buying any pistols because I could only shoot them at the range A lot of folks don't really realize how many "rights" or "Privileges" we have here in the U.S.

Then when you see how some of your states have impacted your rights it gets almost bizarre

When I was stationed in Omaha I worked for a Major that collected Peacemakers. He only had about 4, but they were nice and they weren't cheap!

I had an uncle that used to do the old quick draw contests I can remember back in the 70's when his club did demonstrations at fairs and such He collected old revolvers
