Yah, the monsoon gearslinger or the jumbo pack in "the best seller" category caught my eye....was thinking about putting together a survival kit/backpack that would have everything I needed (including a gun)...that I could keep in my patrol car.

i carried a fatboy jumbo pack for a long time and it help up great. just moved up to the collosus. still getting used to it but it is growing on me. very well made gear though.

My old man recently upgraded from the Fatboy to the Jumbo... he really likes his Jumbo.
Me, I still like my Proteus, but I am thinking of a change myself... pass the Proteus onto the rugrat.
I have carried an M-5 as a purse for a couple of years now. I am changing over to a TacTile combo as soon as I get them in. A girl has to have a new bag now and again, after all.

FYI: most Maxpedition gear is manufactured in their plant in Taiwan. The company headquarters is in California. Tim, the president, is a really nice guy.
