Patty started feeling sick Saturday evening and by Sunday she was in full blown sick mode.
This morning the phone was ringing (we slept in late) and by the time we got to it they had hung up. It was her Doctor. He said that he saw on FB that she wasn't feeling well and wanted to check on her. NOW THIS IS A DOCTOR!
I've mentioned him before. He has a "Concierge Type" practice I believe they call it. He takes NO insurance. That way he can give his patients the treatment they need, NOT what the insurance says they will pay for. He DOES NOT report to any branch of government for them to DENY you certain services they don't think you need. If you want to learn more about this type of doctor's practice, go here: Independent MD.net He lists the type services he provides and also links to other doctors doing the same type service. IT is a GREAT option for us and might be for you as well. Check and see if there is one in your area, you might be surprised.
