0-9 - I bet that MK19 is a hoot! We were still using the M79 "blooper" in VietNam. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

It is until you have to carry part of it on a 25 mile hump or the .50 cal. they don't make these heavy machine guns very light or portable as I am sure you all know.

New user to the board saying hi. Pro-Gun Rights Class III firearm collector ( what I can afford )and 19 years as a cop. Currently in violent crimes unit and member of Tactical Team and Firearms Training Unit. Hobbies...diving, outdoors, firearms. Never was really into knives till I started looking for a good knife I could use for duty use and general field use. I started researching to find a tougher than nails knife with a sure grip handle that I could use as a pry-bar if necessary, and it had to be relatively affordabe. All my research led to Busse, but I was trying to justify the cost. You can see where I landed. Now the owner of two Scrapper 6, a Yard Guard, and a Dumpster Mutt. Just bought two more Yard Guards from Bladeforums for buds headed to the sandbox (Iraq). For those that frequent other boards, I am Full-Auto also on ar15.com.

Thanks for the warm greetings guys. Dan and Patti you have a great product and I think it shows by the positive enthusiastic crowd that frequents the board. As I said before, I really was never into knives. I stumbled across Scrap Yard Knives about two months ago and I'm hooked. To answer some of the questions on the thread: I Never fired a MK-19 although I wish I had had the opportunity. That has to be the ultimate thrill to shoot a fully automatic grenade launcher. I envy you guys that got to fire that bad boy. As far as Class 3, I have a couple M16's, an MP-5, and a number of various suppressors that I own personally. The AR-15/M16 is one of my favorites. I don’t even know how many AR variants I have in different configurations. Being on the tactical team allows me to train and shoot fairly often with dept guns. I have a select fire M4 and an MP5-SD (silenced) issued. My close friends have large Class 3 collections that I have the opportunity to shoot every now and then. M60's, M249 Saw’s, Ma Deuce (50 cal Browning MG), Old German MP40's and MP44's, Swedish K's. It's a lot of fun, but ammo prices have gone up so high, we have cut back quite a bit. Headed off to work so I will post more when I have time. I will post some pics with the Class 3 items and the Scrap Yard knives when I get a chance. Thanks again guys.

I'll try to get the Ma Deuce pic soon. Here's one to start in smaller caliber.

***Edited to post the picture on a new post.
